"Helio Carbon" updated

Helio Carbon 88 | D=122-88-111mm (179cm) | L=179cm | R=19m (179cm) | ¥139,920 (estimated price)

Black Diamond's lightweight tour ski line "Helio Carbon" has been updated with the 2025-2026 season model. This series has been designed for ski mountaineering and long backcountry tours, and has achieved an overwhelming balance of lightness and sliding performance. It features high vibration absorption and rigidity, dispelling the impression that it is "too light and unstable" that is common in conventional carbon skis.

This season's model has been revised to have each part structure on the 102 and 108 models, further improving operability and rideability. Even in rough barns and hard packs, the boards are designed to capture the snow surface without shaking, making it a reliable tool for technology-oriented tour skiers and mountain skiers.

In addition, the top sheet graphics have also been revamped. The design is adapted to the Impulse Titanium series, which was released in the 2024-25 season, creating a sense of unity in the overall visuals of the black diamond skis.

"Expedition Pole" is the true value only in harsh conditions

Expedition 3P Whippet

¥27,940 (estimated price)

The Expedition Ski Pole is popular among many backcountry skiers because it combines both light weight and robustness, and is easy to operate even while wearing gloves. This season, models with whippet attachments are also available.

Equipped with a flick lock pro mechanism that allows for reliable length adjustment, it combines quick operability and high fixing force. In addition, it also has a wide range of features designed for winter mountain climbing and backcountry, such as large EVA foam grips and ski scrapers.

"Circ Ultra" series, which uses new lightweight and durable materials

Circ Ultra 35

¥67,760 (estimated price)

The Circ Ultra 35 is an ultra-light ski pack based on the Ultra Light Pack "Beta Light" and is designed to handle harsh backcountry skiing. Made from lightweight and durable Challenge Sailcloth Ultra™ 200/400D fabric, it features a roll-top closure, externally accessible avalanche gear pocket and side compartments for skin clamps. Furthermore, it supports a variety of ski/snowboard carry methods, such as diagonal, A-frame, and vertical, and is highly functional and can also be used for hydration and radio equipment.

The lineup also includes a compact 25L type with a different size.

BRAND features

From climbing & backcountry gear to trekking gear, this comprehensive brand offers a wide variety of highly reliable mountaineering gear. The brand was founded by Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia. Before Patagonia was founded, Mr. Chouinard launched a climbing gear brand "Chouinard Equipment" such as harnesses, and BlackDiamond was born after taking over Chouinard Equipment.

Since then, it has developed into a major top brand in the mountain world, mainly for climbing and trekking equipment. At Snowfield, backcountry gear including skis and poles, especially safety gear such as avalanche beacons, shovels, probes, and airbags, has a prominent presence and is highly trusted and supported.
