Gen Sasaki becomes the first Japanese player to join a global team
Gen Sasaki, a freeskier from Niseko, Hokkaido, is the first Japanese to join the blackcrows global team. He has represented Japan in freestyle skiing, competing in slopestyle and big air competitions both in Japan and overseas. He is the first Japanese athlete to appear in an MSP (Matchstick Productions) production, and the first Japanese athlete to be selected for SMITH's Athlete Collection and have a signature model released. He is an athlete who has attracted attention and made remarkable progress
In November 2014, he announced a change in materials to blackcrows, saying, "I found it interesting and valuable to promote a brand that is still relatively unknown in Japan."
