DPS debuts sensational carving model "Pisteworks"!
The PisteWorks series, released in the 2025-2026 season, breaks new ground by utilizing DPS's renowned carbon engineering. Its unique carbon fiber construction delivers superior on-piste carving, precise edge hold, smooth power, and energetic response. Instead of traditional metal or fiberglass, the pure carbon construction ensures a highly responsive yet stable ride
Two waist widths are available: 79mm and 94mm. The 79mm, with its 13.5m radius (turn radius), is ideal for early morning grooming and short turns on hard-packed snow. The 94mm has an 18-20m radius, making it ideal for high-speed, big turns on all-mountain skis. The full carbon construction and recycled carbon power plate maximize the performance of the carbon, enabling dynamic, sharp skiing
The Pisteworks 94 was unveiled at the Dream Gate test ride event held at Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort on March 1st and 2nd, 2025. Masao Shinoda, a rider who was in charge of the DPS booth, told us about the features of this new ski
A carbon-equipped model has been added to the popular all-mountain freeride model "KOALA"!
The all-mountain Koala is part of DPS' lineup, featuring a cute koala graphic as its trademark. The 2024-2025 Koala 112 was popular for its surprisingly good edge grip and outstanding stability despite its wide waist. For the 2025-2026 season, the 103 and 111 waist sizes feature a new hybrid carbon construction, further enhancing maneuverability and stability.
With an 18m radius and a modest tip and tail rocker, the Koala 103 is particularly playful. It carves smooth yet exciting carves with a snappy response, allowing for comfortable fun at any turn and speed. Starting with the 2025-2026 season, Koalas are handcrafted in the company's Salt Lake City factory, ensuring significantly improved product quality and quality assurance.
DPS was founded in 2005 in the USA as a collaboration between professional skiers and engineers. Though originally a garage brand, the company surprised the world with the introduction of the world's first sandwich-construction skis featuring Brigrave carbon fiber. Since then, they have been producing lightweight, tough skis with excellent power transmission through innovative shapes and the active introduction of new materials. Even with the same shape, performance changes depending on the combination of materials and construction, allowing for a wide variety of categories and offering a wide range of riding experiences
