The new "ICON" series has been added to the WOMEN'S LINE!
EXTREM's home mountain, Åre in Sweden, is a mountain with harsh Scandinavian conditions, offering a wide range of conditions, from deep powder to soft groomed runs, rough mogul runs and hard ice. To master these tough conditions and enjoy skiing to the fullest, you need versatile skis that can handle a variety of conditions
For the 2025-2026 season, EXTREM will be introducing the new "ICON" model as the successor to the popular "MOTHER TREE" women's line, which has been considered a symbol of the brand. The "ICON" model, which inherits the DNA of the MOTHER TREE and has been further refined, will be available in three models: the ICON 90, 96, and 102. Each model features a completely new shape, and has been thoroughly tested by Swedish female athletes, who have incorporated their feedback into the final product
This ski is perfect for those looking to carve on the piste. The flexible and stable poplar wood core, combined with two layers of titanium across the entire width of the ski, ensures strong edge grip even on hard snow, resulting in powerful, sharp turns. The slight rocker on the tip and tail also makes for smooth turn initiation
The ICON 96 inherits the excellent features of the Mother Tree 95 and takes them to the next level. It offers exceptional carving ability and outstanding stability at high speeds, and has ample rocker in the tip and tail for excellent lift in soft snow, making it a true all-mountain ski
By combining a poplar wood core with a lightweight fiberglass laminate, it has succeeded in reducing weight while still providing a high level of strength, vibration absorption, and edge grip. It is a worthy successor to the Mother Tree 95
The ICON 102 is positioned as the successor to the Mothertree 105, but it features an entirely new shape and sidecut. The carefully tuned rocker profile allows for smooth turn initiation and a firm tail release when needed. It floats happily in powder, handles rough surfaces with ease, and carves comfortably on groomed runs, making it the ideal board
"FORMULA 88" is extremely popular and is highly recommended for the 25-26 season!

The FORMULA 88 is a versatile board that can handle everything from powder to carving slopes, even spring granular rock. Released last season, it garnered immense popularity and critical acclaim, and is now back for the 2025-2026 season. Its unique asymmetrical outline—132mm at the tip, 120mm at the tail, 88mm at the center, and 12m radius—provides exceptional maneuverability with its exceptionally sharp side curve
It's great for tight turns, and its dexterity allows you to adjust it to your liking for a variety of turn sizes, including wide turns. Furthermore, the stability when skiing at high speeds is impeccable. "These skis are really fun, and I highly recommend them for the 2025-2026 season," says Legolas. Be sure to try out this ultimate carving machine
It began in 1981 in a garage in a town in northern Sweden, with two young dreamers making handmade snowboards, and evolved into a ski company in 1998. After repeated testing in the often harsh conditions of the mountains of Åre, they developed all-mountain skis that can be used on any slope or snow type
The factory is powered by local hydroelectric power, and the core material of the skis is made from Swedish wood, so the company is also mindful of the natural environment. In recent years, the high quality of its skis has been widely praised, winning the ISPO Gold Award and being selected as the best gear by Sweden's largest ski magazine. Sweden used to be home to many ski factories, but EXTREM is the only factory brand that remains today
