Matsuoka Gloves was founded in 1957 in Kagawa Prefecture, a famous glove production area that accounts for over 90% of the national market share. The company produces gloves for skiing and snowboarding, as well as thin gloves for baseball and golf, as well as motorcycle and fishing gloves, and has a 64-year history of manufacturing gloves for other manufacturers on an OEM basis. In 2005, the company developed "ErgoGrip," an ergonomic technology that stitches gloves together at the knuckles to fit the natural curvature of the human hand. This technology was a first in the 200-year history of Japanese gloves, and Matsuoka Gloves has obtained a patent for it.
Updated for easier on/off and a better fit to every finger
This year marks the sixth anniversary of Matsuoka Gloves' full-scale development of its own brand of ski gloves, and all models have been updated to provide a more comfortable fit
The slits in the cuffs (the area where you put your hands) have been increased by 5 mm, making them easier to put on and take off, and the length of the fingers has been extended by 3 mm, allowing them to fit even between the fingers, giving a feeling that is closer to using bare hands
