OPENING PARK & STEP UP PARK
Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Ski Resort

The selling point is the "hybrid jump" that combines the best of safety, security, and the feeling of floating.

This park has a heavy snowfall slope where you can ski until May, with plenty of fine, powdery snow known as micro-fine snow. The park is operated in collaboration with Hoshino Resorts Alts Bandai, and the two resorts are connected, so lift tickets are shared, meaning if you have a season pass you can enjoy riding in the park for more than five months

From December to mid-January, an "Opening Park" is set up at Nekoma, allowing you to enjoy jumping early on. Nekoma's park is known for its "hybrid jumps," which combine the best of safety, security, and a sense of floating. However, from mid-January to March, the park moves to Alts Bandai. During the peak season, all levels of parks are concentrated at Alts, so you'll have to ride there

In early March, Nekoma will once again welcome the Step Up Park, a slopestyle park. The advanced lanes are highly challenging, with kickers over 10m high and technical jibs, and the high-quality equipment lined up here is enough to host some of Japan's top slopestyle competitions. However, there are also lanes for beginners and intermediate skiers, so rest assured that anyone can enjoy themselves

Snow Wave Park Shiratori Kogen
FREE RIDE JIB PARKS

The best big kicker in Okumino, with consistently stable conditions

Shiratori Kogen is a unique ski resort, full of originality and surprises. Even though it's only about an hour and a half by car from Nagoya, it usually opens early, in late November. Thanks to the power of the snow-making machines with their ice crushing system, the resort is able to maintain stable conditions on the large kickers. The resort also receives a lot of snow, so you can sometimes enjoy powder snow as early as March

The slopes at Shiratori Kogen operate as a golf course during the green season, and the terrain was intentionally designed to be undulating, so in the winter season the snow piled up on the rich terrain makes for a fun experience. To make the most of the abundant snow and unique terrain, restrictions on skiing have been kept to a minimum, creating an environment where you can ski freely on any slope. The entire area is a natural snow park where you can ski and jump as much as you want.

There are two parks, and the main park is accessed by a hooded quad lift that takes you from the bottom to the top, and there are a variety of large and small kickers, boxes and rails on both sides of the lift line. It is also home to the signature big kicker, the best in Oku-Mino.

The other is located halfway up the slope, and is accessed efficiently using the Romance Lift. It has a slopestyle-style design and also has a wide variety of equipment. With a history of running a snow park dating back to the 90s, sophisticated park operation techniques have been passed down from generation to generation of diggers, and the high level of perfection of each and every item is one of the reasons for its high reputation and popularity
