Latest report from Kagura Ski Resort | Mt. Tateyama, Mt. Gassan... Still plenty of spring and summer skiing to enjoy

As we reach the middle of May, the fresh greenery on the high mountains is becoming more and more dazzling. Here we bring you a report on Kagura Ski Resort on May 11th, along with the latest photos

Be sure to check the official website before heading out

Kagura Main Slope

The main slope. The grooming was great in the morning, and it felt great. The run was 1,512m (average slope 13 degrees, maximum 27 degrees, altitude 1,675-1,323m). As the temperature rose, the ground became granular. It was easy to make moguls

The snow quality was granular. There was no snow stop in the morning. There was also a banked slalom line at the top of the lift

Kagura main course middle section

The course is 1,512 meters long and is so challenging that it's quite hard to ski nonstop. As you can see in the photo, there is plenty of snow for this time of year. The detour course has been closed since May 12th

Kagura Park (Snow Park)

The kicker is gone, but the park where you can enjoy jibing is still there

Gondola Course

The gondola course was barely open, but they had worked hard to make it. On this day, it was possible to descend the mountain without using the gondola, but it has been closed since May 12th

There's still plenty to enjoy at Kagura, even just on the main course. Why not try another run?
Ski resorts will be open until May 21st, so please do your best to maintain the slopes and collect snow!

There are still plenty of great spots to ski, such as Mt. Chokai, Mt. Gassan, Senjojiki Cirque, Mt. Tateyama, Mt. Norikura, etc. There are also tours available from now on, so be sure to check them out
