Hokkaido Powder Belt that receives some of the country's best dry powder snow . Want to experience the finest powder snow? What's it like staying at a winter resort like Hoshino Resorts? And since you're in Hokkaido, you'll want to enjoy some delicious cuisine, too. We've put together a three-day, two-night "adult ski trip" that's packed with girls' dreams.
This time, three female skiers, Yui Ohno, Mina Itaba, and Yuri Asakawa, who are based in Hakuba, Minamiuonuma, and Myoko, respectively, visited Tomamu in Hokkaido. They also took a large number of photos of their trip on their smartphones (over 600 photos!). Let's take a look back at the places and events that made an impression on them through the photos
Must-see!! Scenic spots and recommended photogenic spots in Tomamu
When it comes to girls' trips, you want to take some great photos as a memento of your trip.
Tomamu has a number of photo spots with stunning views scattered throughout the slopes. It's fun to visit these spots while skiing. Let me introduce the spots we visited.
①Frost Terrace and Cloud Walk

First up is the " Frost Terrace ." Located at the summit of Tomamu Mountain, it offers views of the glittering white trees covered in ice and the majestic Hidaka Mountains. You can take photos with Tomamu The Tower and the gondola, so this is a must-see for photos that are truly "Tomamu-esque."
Anyone can walk from the Frost Terrace to Cloud Walk, a suspension bridge-like structure.
This unique cloud-shaped observation deck juts out from the slope and is a spectacular spot that even non-skiers can visit.

②Ice Village

The fantastical " Ice Village " is only available at night in winter. Here, you'll find a town made of ice, including an ice church and an ice hotel. Each facility is lit up with lights, creating a beautiful sparkling ice scene.

The ice bar serves alcoholic drinks in ice glasses, the ice ramen shop serves ice ramen in ice bowls, and more. You can also try out activities like ice skating
Envy! "Risonare Tomamu" offers comprehensive hotel services

Hoshino Resorts operates and develops various types of accommodation facilities all over the country.
There are many facilities that everyone dreams of staying at, but Hoshino Resorts Tomamu offers services that are perfect for skiers and is also perfect for girls' trips.
The hotel where we stayed this time, " Risonare Tomamu ," is a two-story skyscraper-like building with all rooms over 100 m², all suites with a panoramic jet bath and private sauna.
Warm up your chilled body and recharge your energy. The suites are spacious enough for ski trips where you tend to carry a lot of luggage, so you can get ready for the next day or even have a girls' night out all night, making them a great choice for luxurious adult women.

Hooray for food-loving girls! Gourmet Tomamu
A cafe and restaurant with easy ski-in/ski-out access

For lunch, we went to Cafe & Bar Tsukino on Hotaru Street, which offers a wide variety of gourmet food unique to Tomamu, including hearty hamburgers, milk soft serve ice cream and cafe lattes made with Tomamu milk, which have a refreshing aftertaste
*Menus vary depending on the season

Hoshino Resorts Tomamu has over 20 restaurants and cafes, including Hotaru Street.
The buffet restaurant, which is open for breakfast and dinner, will fill you up with so many dishes that you won't be able to finish it all in one sitting.

The latte art is so cute ♡"

, but be careful not to eat too much..."
The best part of the trip? Enjoy a luxurious full-course Italian meal

OTTO SETTE TOMAMU is perfect for a luxurious ladies' trip .
Dress up a little and head out to this restaurant for dinner.
Here, they serve a full course of exquisite Italian cuisine made with seasonal ingredients.
The appetizers are so extravagant that you'll want to photograph them from every angle, saying, "It's too stylish to eat!"
The food also shows off its many different faces when paired with natural wines. "That wine was delicious, let's have another glass." Indulging in a satisfying dinner is a luxurious experience that only adults can enjoy.

Of course, I skied! I was very satisfied with the variety of courses

Since it was the first time for everyone to visit Tomamu, we started off by cruising through a variety of courses.
When you think of Tomamu, you think of "Tomamu the Tower," the two colorful towers towering on the slopes. We tried again and again, determined to take a photo of ourselves sliding towards the towers. The gentle slope made it easy to ski leisurely while enjoying the scenery.

Advanced Area is a must-try for all skiers . By completing the necessary procedures, you can enjoy a full-scale tree run even within the ski resort, and many skiers and snowboarders take on the challenge every season. This is an initiative unique to Hoshino Resorts Tomamu, which creates slopes that make the most of the natural environment.
Even if you push, attack, and fall, the high-quality powder snow will protect you. That's what makes skiing with friends so much fun

If you want to go even harder, head Tomamu Slopestyle Park . Oh no, I only have powder boards, but I'm here so I'll try flying, I thought. I got excited seeing my friends' tricks up close, which I don't usually get to see.

Have you always been good? End your trip with the "Mt. Karifuri CAT Tour"

We participated in
Dake Karifuri CAT Tour held by Hoshino Resort Tomamu at Mt. Karifuri As if to celebrate the end of our trip, we were blessed with perfect weather, and everyone was excited throughout the day!

After getting off the CAT, we walked to the skiing point. The ground was covered in soft snow, but we followed in a line behind the guide
When you arrive at the drop point, a wide, untracked powder run where you can make big turns spreads out before your eyes. Those with backcountry experience will be excited to get down, while those who are still new to the sport will be filled with nervousness
As each person prepares, he gives advice like, "It's dangerous to ski up to that tree, so stop above it." Having a planned route in advance gives you peace of mind. All that's left is the courage to jump into the powder

"3, 2, 1, drop!" they shouted, and took off. As they made turns, smooth, dry powder flew into the air. "Wow!" "Ahhh!" Shouts of joy rang out. Such luxurious time passed in the blink of an eye. Before I knew it, I had reached the stopping point, ignoring my desire to ski more

After a long day of skiing, we headed to lunch, which was included with the tour. A yurt appeared alone in the forest. Once inside, we were greeted by a retro yet stylish space decorated like a mountain cabin

The lunch provided on the tour was a luxurious one-person hotpot filled with Hokkaido seafood, including shrimp and salmon. The soup, packed with the flavor of the ingredients, warmed me from the inside out, my body cold from the exhaustion of skiing
Three days of skiing, staying overnight, playing, and eating. One of the great things about a ski trip is that even if it's your first time on the trip, you'll quickly become friends with everyone once you've skied. This
will also deepen your bonds, and you'll be motivated to go back again and ski more!
Hoshino Resorts Tomamu has captivated skiers with its excellent snow quality and comprehensive facilities and services, making it a recommended destination this winter.

I was surprised by the selection that even core skiers would be satisfied with!"
