Blanche Takayama Ski Resort is located at an altitude of 1,350-1,800m, adjacent to part of the Yatsugatake Chushin Kogen Quasi-National Park. With an amazing 80% sunny day rate, it is a ski resort blessed with good weather.
Although the amount of snowfall is less than in areas along the Sea of Japan, the resort maintains stable slopes thanks to artificial snow made by state-of-the-art snow machines. Blanche calls this smooth, safe snow "Solid Snow®," and aims to create slopes where all skiers and snowboarders, from beginners to advanced, can easily improve their skills.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the opening and snowboarding is now allowed!
Blanche Takayama Snow Resort is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Until now, it has operated as one of the largest ski-only slopes in Japan, but to mark its 40th anniversary, in response to many requests, it will open its doors to snowboarders. This will allow snowboarders to enjoy Blanche's pride and joy, the "Solid Snow®" slopes. Snowboard rentals and a school will also be newly established, and various other events are planned.

・Romantic course

Maximum gradient: 20 degrees, average gradient: 13 degrees / Distance: 1580m / Slope orientation: North
This intermediate run was the first to open at Blanche and is open until the end of the season. In the middle of the season, moguls and cross courses are added, making it a challenging run.
・Fir Tree Ice Course

Maximum gradient: 12 degrees, average gradient: 8 degrees / Distance: 2100m / Slope direction: West to North
Blanche's proud long course. From the summit, through the forest course, you can ski about 2.1km to the quad lift station halfway up the mountain. Even beginners can enjoy this course if they can do the wedge turn.
・Panorama course

Maximum gradient: 25 degrees, average gradient: 17 degrees / Distance: 1300m / Slope orientation: North
This advanced course is also used for GS competitions. The high-speed lifts offer the best riding experience in Blanche. The course can be rented exclusively, making it ideal for competitions and rider lessons.

Miso ramen with plenty of vegetables @Mominoki Shokudo
There are six stores in the ski resort, including Japanese, Western, and Chinese restaurants, as well as a cafe. In particular, Mominoki Shokudo, located halfway up the slope, offers a wide variety of classic ski resort foods, including soy sauce ramen topped with homemade pork slices, Shinshu miso ramen with plenty of meat miso and bean sprouts, and curry.

Silent Bath
This hot spring has an open-air bath where you can soak while looking out at the Otonashi River, which originates from Lake Shirakaba. The facility also has a large indoor bath, a rock sauna, and a restaurant, perfect for soothing your tired muscles after a day of skiing. It's about 15 minutes from the ski resort, and is located on the way to the Chuo Expressway, making it an easy stop on your way back.
