New Greenpia Tsunan is a ski resort in Tsunan Town, an area of heavy snowfall that spreads across the Tsunan Plateau at the foot of Mt. Naeba. The north-facing slopes have good snow quality and abundant snowfall, making it a private resort that can be enjoyed by a wide range of skiers, from beginners to advanced skiers.
There is also a hotel adjacent to the slopes, so after a day of fun you can refresh your body and mind in the large open-air hot spring bath with a view. After skiing, there is also the "Tsunan Lantern Launching Experience," where lights of prayer dance into the night sky, which is held every day, so there is no end to the fun from morning to night (excluding reserved days).

The Tsunan Lantern Launching Experience, a specialty of New Greenpia Tsunan, will be launched every day from Saturday, December 20, 2025 to Tuesday, March 31, 2026 (excluding reserved days). The experience of writing your wish on a lantern and sending it into the night sky is sure to be a special memory. Registration is open until 4:00 PM on the day of the event, making it easy to participate.
Winter fireworks are held over the New Year period (December 27th to January 5th), on Saturdays (except January 17th and March 14th), January 11th, February 22nd, and March 20th. The combination of Tsunan Lanterns and winter fireworks is a fantastical sight that is definitely worth seeing.
