Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort morning video
Sapporo Kokusai is an easily accessible city resort, just a 60-minute drive from Sapporo city, but the amount and quality of snow it offers is unbelievable. During the peak season, it accumulates nearly 3 meters of snow, making it a tough resort where you can ski right up until Golden Week
All the runs are long, so you can enjoy long powder rides after it snows, and when it doesn't snow, you can get drunk on high-speed carving on the beautiful groomed runs. With a vast slope with a maximum run length of 3.6 km and a total of 7 diverse runs, it will satisfy all skiers and snowboarders
From the summit, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Sea of Japan, the Ishikari Plain, and the beautiful rows of frost-covered trees, and one of the attractions is that you can truly feel the great outdoors of Hokkaido

Enjoy Sapporo gourmet food at Lounge THE 6, where you can relax
The lounge, which utilizes the station building of the "6" gondola, a six-seater that was in operation from 1984 to 2020 and was named after the hexagonal shape of a snowflake, is a great place to relax between ski runs, and you can unwind at the entrance or on the terrace while looking out over the ski resort. The Japanese-style space surrounding the facility's iconic "signage tower" offers a high-quality space where you can enjoy the lingering feeling of snow and Hokkaido cuisine. There are also unique menu items, such as roasting marshmallows over a fire pit (artificial bonfire).
