Introducing Ski Jam Katsuyama's recommended courses, weather forecast, live camera, and course map
Ski Jam Katsuyama (Fukui Prefecture) is a ski resort like this
JAM is a winter theme park where you can play in the snow!
Ski Jam Katsuyama is the westernmost snow resort in the Tokyu Group. Surrounded by the Hakusan mountain range, it boasts the snow quality and abundant snowfall that are unique to the Sea of Japan side. As one of the largest slopes in western Japan, it boasts the longest run of 5,800m!
The slopes are divided into three areas: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The Variety Site includes a forest road course and the Big Kids Park, where even beginners can enjoy spectacular views from an altitude of 1,000m and long cruising of 3,000m. The Fantasy Site is hugely popular with snowboarders due to its wide variety of activities, including Snow Park Jam and the Illusion Site, which has the most challenging Extreme course at the top of the slope, with a maximum gradient of 37 degrees, and tree run areas for different levels that will satisfy even advanced skiers. There are a total of 16 diverse courses.
With the opening of the Chubu Longitudinal Expressway up to Katsuyama IC, Ski Jam Katsuyama is now even closer to the Kansai region and Fukui city. It's easily accessible, just about 20 minutes from Katsuyama IC. What's great is that the section from Fukui Kita JCT to Katsuyama IC is free to use.
This year too, it's a snow resort that will make you want to return again and again, saying, "JAM is the best!"
Topics from the '25-26 season

A new area packed with five attractions, "JAM MID BASE" has been born!
A new area has opened midway up the slope that can be enjoyed by beginners and those who don't ski.
At an altitude of about 1,000m, there is a restaurant with a panoramic view of the slopes. The surrounding slopes have been renovated into a beginner-friendly run with an average gradient of 3 degrees, and activities such as snow rafting can also be enjoyed.
Even if you don't have snowboards, you can easily move around on the snow with Snow RAXI, which provides free round-trip transportation to and from the restaurant.

Big Kids Park is now even bigger and more fun!
Unique to Fukui, the "Dinosaur Kingdom," where the largest number of dinosaur fossils have been discovered in Japan, BiKids Park, a dinosaur-themed park for beginners and kids, has been expanded in size and fun!
As one of the largest in western Japan, it features sledding and snow play areas, as well as the newly introduced dinosaur inflatable play equipment and slides. Equipped with a snow escalator, it's perfect for snow debuts and practice. There are also a full range of equipment such as shovels and snowball machines, and free entry and exit is available, so you can enjoy it all day long.

New tree run area opens!
In addition to "Free Ride Tree Run A," where you can enjoy the unique valley terrain, "Pow Ride Tree Run B," which includes cliff slopes overseen by legendary BURTON rider Dave Downing, and "Novislide Tree Run C," which has a medium-to-gentle slope that even tree run beginners can enjoy, this season also sees the opening of a fourth new area, "Novislide Tree Run D."
With a medium distance of around 400m, the trees are not too close together, and the open terrain makes it an ideal intermediate trial zone for beginners to step up their game.
