Shizukuishi Ski Resort Recommended Courses
・Giant Slalom Course
Maximum slope: 22 degrees Average: 18 degrees / Distance: 746 m / Slope orientation: Southeast There are 3 courses that can be skied down from the top of the slope, all of which are steep slopes suitable for advanced skiers and have plenty of sliding challenge, but the giant slalom course in particular has a lot of slope changes. Rich and fun. The slope is moderate from the start, but as it winds to the left, there are some undulations and it drops off a bit. This is a popular course when it snows because you can enjoy a deep powder ride.
・Downhill
Maximum slope: 24 degrees Average: 15 degrees / Distance: 2,648 m / Slope orientation: A course that continues for approximately 2,700 m from the top of the East Ski Resort. This is the slope where the Alpine World Cup men's downhill race was held in the past. The course that runs on the ridge is wide and consists of gentle slopes and steep slopes, making for plenty of sliding action. It's also nice to enjoy a relaxing ski while looking at Mt. Iwate on your left. There are several courses at the bottom, the most difficult being the Yoshitsune and Yoshitsune Bypass courses, which boast some of the steepest slopes in the ski resort.
