Hoshino Resorts Alts Bandai operates a unique style of shuttle-style cat skiing on dedicated courses within the ski resort.
This style allows you to freely ski down four courses, ranging from gentle medium slopes to steep 37-degree slopes (which may be closed under certain conditions). The medium slopes are mainly made up of pre-constructed slopes, making them easy to ski on, and perfect for first-time cat skiers and powder beginners. As it is located within the ski resort, it is safe and secure.
No backcountry gear is required, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis in the morning, making it easy to participate. Three trips are operated per day, and you can use each one individually, so it's definitely worth giving it a try.
