Skiing on a 350m long summer slope
GALA Summer Park is located 3km and 5 minutes from Yuzawa IC on the Kan'etsu Expressway. A free shuttle bus runs from Echigo-Yuzawa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen, making it easily accessible. Once you reach an altitude of approximately 800m by gondola, you can enjoy a variety of activities, centered around the summer slopes.
The most impressive of these is the summer slope, which stretches for approximately 350m. The course, which makes use of the natural terrain, can be enjoyed by everyone from experts to beginners, even in the summer, making it a very popular off-season training spot.
Also, this summer will be the final time the summer slopes will be open, so don't miss your last chance!
The artificial snow mats "PIS*LAB" laid out on the ground are made of plastic brushes using the latest technology. They make edging easier, so even those who are not used to snowboarding can get started with a similar feeling to snowboarding. Even small children can try it
In addition to skis, you can also rent protective gear at the rental corner, so you can go empty-handed
There are also restaurants, hot springs, a pool, and outdoor activities such as mountain carts, active buggies, E-MTBs (mountain bikes, bungee trampolines), offering a wide range of activities that can be enjoyed by both adults and children
