Patagonia is planning to hold various events around the country in preparation for the coming winter, one of which will be a talk event titled "Freedom Beyond the Slopes - Backcountry Freeriding" starting on Sunday, November 9th
The guest speakers were snowboarders Fukuki Takahashi and Sayaka Kato. Both of them are from the same generation and have been active in the competitive half-pipe scene. They have grown through friendly competition and are now passionate about freeriding in the backcountry

What drew these two to the mountains, seeking freedom in their skiing, utilizing techniques that stimulate their creativity and spirit, amid unique terrain, deep powder snow, and unpredictable nature? We explore the appeal of the backcountry from each of their perspectives, as well as the underlying values of the two men, exploring the joys and fears of the mountains
