BC Workshop sponsored by Lost Arrow
This year, a must-see for those who want to try backcountry skiing or snowboarding, or those who want to try snowy mountain climbing, will be holding a BC workshop where they will teach you how to use avalanche transceivers (beacons), probes, and shovels, which can be difficult to use for the first time

On the day, participants will review the basic operation of the items and then repeat the process of searching for and digging up a buried person
In addition, this workshop is sponsored by Lost Arrow, and all types of PIEPS beacons and iProbes will be available for free rental. Even if you don't have any equipment, you can easily participate, and it's a great opportunity to try out any items you've been interested in

Dates: Friday, December 30, 2022; Saturday, January 7, 2023; Wednesday, January 11, 2023; Sunday, January 15, 2023
Capacity: Approximately 10 people per session
Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Registration starts at 9:30 AM)
Location: Former Hachimantai Ski Resort, Hachimantai Aspite Line, Gozaisho, Ippuku Chaya Meeting Point
Fee: ¥3,500 (¥500 of which will be used for accident prevention activities and maintenance in the Hachimantai area)
Required equipment: Equipment you normally use when going into snowy mountains (including skiing gear and snowshoes, etc.), snacks (there is no lunch time, so bring something to eat during breaks), and insurance (participants must purchase their own insurance).
