It has been decided that an introductory backcountry event will be hosted by Fisher. This is an event where Japan Mountain Guide Association certified ski guides Yuki Shibata and Yukiyasu Matsuzawa will teach beginners the know-how and fun of ski touring in an easy-to-understand manner.
We plan to hold introductory courses and experiences around the mountaintop area of GALA Yuzawa using TOUR/FREERIDE skis with tech bindings. Participation conditions are as long as you have the skills to ski parallel on alpine skis. Ski bindings and stickers can be borrowed free of charge. Prepare your boots with TECH bindings and participate in the event. (Boots are also available for rent in limited quantities)
The participation fee is 4,400 yen per person, the first application deadline is 12:00 noon on Friday, March 8th, and the second application deadline is 12:00 noon on Friday, March 15th. Registration will close as soon as the capacity is reached each day, so please apply as soon as possible.
