Since the upper shell of the boot is softer than the lower shell, the range of motion is wide while maintaining the sharpness of the turns.

You can slide in various situations such as slopes and backcountry, but you can slide through this one pair all year round. I use JESTER for all skis other than BC because the binding has a great hold and allows the ski to flex nicely.
