BLASTRACK's second full rocker "ROC118" debuts!

"BLASTRACK" started in 2011 as a free ski brand of Ogasaka Factory. The entire lineup uses only natural wood core materials without using metal, and the brand is characterized by the lightness and flexibility unique to wood cores.

The premium model "SILVA", which debuted in the 2021-22 season, is a model with a full rocker shape that BLASTRACK has never had before. Based on the original "LONG NOSE" technology, it has a full rocker shape that reduces resistance from the snow surface, which has been realized through repeated tests.

The ROC118 is the second BLASTRACK full rocker model that inherited that know-how.

"LONG NOSE" is a shovel-shaped nose created with arcs of different radii, and has a long and gentle shape that rises from the point of contact with the snow to the tip. On uncompressed snow, it grips the snow surface smoothly, and the long contact length provides buoyancy and stability.

"LONG NOSE" has not only uncompressed snow but also control performance in compacted snow. In compacted snow, the wide-body model has a LONG-NOSE shape to shorten the contact length and improve operability. In addition, it enables sharp turns while feeling edge contact with the sole.

The "ROC118", which was born based on this "LONG NOSE" technology, enables high-speed turns that cannot be imagined from its lightweight and soft flex. Due to the full rocker shape, the movement to bend the ski can be omitted to some extent. So you can use it to focus your flexing effort on complex mountain terrain, making for a more dynamic ride.
