3L setup that combines lightness and durability with minimal functions
"Men's Recon Stretch LT Shell & Pants" is the lightest shell and pants from Blackdiamond. Succeeded in weight reduction by narrowing down the functions to the minimum required. Being lighter allows you to move faster.
On a backcountry tour, which needs to be able to handle all kinds of natural terrain, there is a wide range of activities, from climbing to gliding, and sometimes danger avoidance, and the amount of exercise is very high. This setup is a 3-layer construction that combines lightness and durability. In pursuit of lightness, it is not only lightweight, but also features high stretchability due to the adoption of 4-way stretch fabric. Blackdiamond's unique waterproof and breathable membrane "BD Dry" is waterproof and has excellent durability due to ripstop material.
Both the shell and pants are lighter than Blackdiamond's classic recon stretch ski shell and pants.

Both the shell and pants are lighter than Blackdiamond's classic recon stretch ski shell and pants. However, it does have the necessary detail capabilities.
The shell has ventilation that is essential in the backcountry, convenient hand pockets that can be used to store gloves and a beanie that are removed for a short time without taking down the backpack, and a helmet compatible hood. The pants are also equipped with a pocket for a beacon, a reinforced patch on the hem, a snow gaiter, and a loop that can be attached to the shell.
