ski impressions

OGASAKA ET-10.8|L=188cm|D=140-108-126mm|2023-24 model

What are your impressions of the performance and ride quality of this ski?

This ski with a center of 108 R20.2 has a setting that can be enjoyed even in the BC area (powder/grain), but it also has a good ride in carving turns on the grooming burn. You can feel the ease of riding and turning, which are characteristics of Ogasaka skis. It has the operability like a base plate, but it is also flexible over uneven surfaces, and has a high degree of perfection.

In addition to that, please let us know what you like about this ski, such as its design or other points.

It's cool to see the logo from 1943, when Japan first succeeded in researching and developing plywood skis and started producing them, on the tail!

What kind of people is this ski recommended for?

Even intermediate and advanced skiers and those who don't go to the BC area can enjoy it throughout the season.

boots impression

SCARPA 4-QUATTRO SL 120|2022-23 model

What are your impressions of the performance and comfort of these boots?

The ankle hold is excellent and the upper body doesn't lag behind in the second half of the turn. They also have a grip similar to that of racing boots, making them recommended for those who want to make solid turns. It has a range of motion of 61°, making it light when hiking, and its 27cm length and weight of 1500g are also attractive.

In addition to that, please tell us what you like about these boots, such as the design or one point.

These boots were supervised by former alpine skier Bodhi Miller, so they are recommended for those who are serious about alpine skiing or basic skiing.

Binding impressions

MARKER DUKE PT16 | DIN release value: 12 | 2022-23 model

What are your impressions of the performance and feel of this binding?

I use it because it gives me the same feeling as when sliding with alpine bindings.

In addition to that, please let us know what you like about this binding, such as its design or other points.

I feel that the toe piece can be removed when hiking, and the fact that it is lightweight makes it easy to use.

What kind of people do you think this binding is recommended for?

Recommended for intermediate and advanced users!

Please tell me where to install the binding and why.

It is attached based on the center specified by the ski manufacturer.
