Ayano Suzuki's setup
Review of the entire setup
What kind of places and situations is this setup designed for?
The boots are not dual-purpose boots, so they are heavy, but the feel of slipping, the ease of transmitting force, the sense of security with the metal fittings, and the balance of the board, metal fittings, and boots make this a set up that makes it easy to feel confident anywhere and express your individuality.
Please tell me why you chose this setup.
The advantage of being lightweight is that it is easier to hike and it is easier to conserve physical strength. The downside I feel is that because it is light, it reduces the stability of your feet. Hard places are places where it is easy for your feet to escape. The advantage of the weight is that it feels stable and secure in a wide range of snow conditions, steep slopes, and even hard snow. The contact between the snow and the whole foot feels like manual, so you can always challenge your own performance and easily control the slide. It's just heavy lol
I have used the shells of dual-purpose boots depending on the purpose, but as someone who grew up competing in alpine skiing for a long time, I really value the interaction with the snow surface that can be obtained from the feet of the boots. There were many occasions where I used a wide range of materials, including boots made of the same plastic material that caused power to escape, and boots that were too strong. Therefore, ``boots...for this purpose, we need this level of strength, tenacity, lateral movement, and a position where the sole of the foot rests.'' Board... This width and length, the feeling of repulsion, the front and back strength of the top and tail, the overall balance between the boots, metal fittings, and board, strength and movement, and the movement of shifting from side to side with good balance. Boots...I choose a binding that has such weight, strength, and a sense of unity between the board and the boots that allows for easy movement of the board.
I choose the one that brings out my maximum physical movement performance. As long as I'm not too strong and can perform at about 70% in all situations, I feel more relaxed and enjoy the challenge of giving 100%. By doing so, you will feel a sense of unity with the tool, and you will feel more stable and secure than ever before, and you will also have more leeway, so you will have the benefit of being able to control your freedom through movement.

In addition to that, please let us know what you like about this ski, such as its design or other points.
All Vectorglide types have different tastes depending on the length, binding type, and boots you use. So it's fun, you can ride it for a long time, and it's yours! I think you'll grow attached to it and it will become a cherished piece of equipment.
What kind of people is this ski recommended for?
boots impression
What are your impressions of the performance and comfort of these boots?
Since there is no walk mode, the range of movement forward and backward is not fixed and you can freely find your own turn position.
As a result, the quality of the turn arc changes according to the situation and the snow, allowing you to clearly feel the stickiness and instantly capture the reaction to the board, allowing you to feel the snow surface directly. Therefore, the operation is fluid and smooth. Of course they are heavier than tour boots, but they will give you the best performance when sliding.
