The theme of blackcrows for the '24-25 season is "STEP"

Blackcrows is the birthplace of Chamonix, the kingdom of alpinists. With the theme of "", we are sticking to hard manufacturing with our own sense of values.

The theme for the 2024-25 season is ``Pursuit of Fun.'' As before, the lineup is divided into three ranges: "Big Mountain, Touring, and All Mountain," and next season's new graphic direction is "Step." The graphics have been redesigned, and each ski has three-dimensional steps, giving the impression of stepping up to even higher heights.

'24-25 season topics and recommended models

corvus - reborn with a new shape and structure

corvus|D=135-110-119 (176.3cm)|R=25m(176.3cm)|L=169.4,176.3,181.0,186.2 191.4cm

The most noteworthy feature is probably the renewal of "corvus." This model can be said to be the origin of blackcrows skis, but it has been reborn with a new shape and structure. It embodies the essence of blackcrows skiing: making turns every day, in any snow condition, in any location, full of fun and joy. The large shovel and top rocker ensure excellent flotation in powder, while the flat tail and long effective edge provide high carving performance. This can't be fun.

The structure uses a thicker wood core, reducing CO₂ emissions by not adding unnecessary materials. The ABS sidewalls and edges are recycled, and the top sheet is made of half the amount of TPU, which is a plastic resin material. This is an expression of blackcrows' commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

Octo - Brother machine of the classic "Mirus Cor"

octo|D=130-84-117 (179.3cm)|R=14m(179.3cm)|L=167.2,173.4,179.3,185.4cm

The ``Octo'', which was newly introduced in the '24-25 season, can be said to be a sibling of the ever-popular Mirus Cor. Carving has been attracting a lot of attention as a trend in recent years, and those with long effective edges are gaining popularity. This Octo has a similar top shape to the Mirus Cor, but the major difference is that the Octo has a flat tail instead of twin tips. It has high carving performance due to its long effective edge, and its appeal is that it is very slippery. Weight is also a concern, but ocot is the lightest of the blackcrows models.

The waist is 84 mm, and it is a semi-fat type with a light rocker on the top, making it easy to introduce turns, and the radius is quite short at 14 m, making it quick to switch from edge to edge. It's perfect for quick carving, especially for those who want to enjoy carving free runs and powder on the slopes.

octo birdie - birdie is not just for women.

octo birdie|D=126-84-113 (167.2cm)|R=11.3m(167.2cm)|L=155.3,161.2,167.2,173.4cm

Globally, it may be categorized as a women's model, but even though blackcrows' Birdie is considered a women's model, it does not necessarily mean that it is a softer model for women; a birdie is just a birdie. Rather, it is characterized by its firm tension, and is popular among people who want a firm response. In Japan, it is especially popular among men. Considering the physical differences between Westerners and Americans, there are many male skiers who find the birdie to be a better match and easier to ride. The structure and features are almost the same as octo.

serpo - For skiers who want to pursue carving on the slopes

serpo|D=129-93-113 (168.2cm)|R=20m(168.2cm)|L=152.3,160.2,168.2,174.1, 180.1,186.3cm

From the point of view of ski slope users, ``Serpo'' is recommended. The waist width is 93mm, and the top has a locker and medium flex, making it extremely easy to maneuver. This is because only the bottom part of the foot contains a double H-shaped titanium plate, which strengthens the foot and increases grip and response. It has a flat tail shape instead of twin tips and a long effective edge, so it is recommended for those who are serious about skiing and want to pursue solid carving on the slopes.

For those who want a little more playfulness, those who want to use switches to slide, move, and play in the park, try camox. amina and atris are popular among powder freaks.

mirus cor - a versatile carving ski that will continue to be in high demand

mirus cor|D=134-87-123 (178.0cm)|R=13m(178.0cm)|L=160.1,168.3,173,2,178,0,184.2cm

"Mirus Cor", which has been available since the 2021-22 season, continues to be a recommended model. It has a thick top and a distinctive swallow tail. The waist width is narrow at 87mm, and the radius is 13m, making it a fairly flexible range, making it a versatile bike that can be used for a variety of activities, from the slopes to sidecountry and tree runs.

Although the waist is narrow, the top and tail are thick, so it can glide through powder well and can handle slash and butter movements. The flex is quite soft, so when you step on it, the board sticks to the snow surface. The appeal is that you can also play with the banks. It's also fun to be able to make a big splash with the swallowtail and make a statement. It can be said that it will continue to be the most sought-after carving ski that can handle a wide range of activities from powder to carving to playful movements.
