Keep an eye out for "White Vibes," which regularly broadcasts videos from the Hokuriku area

"White Vibes" is an activity that brings together skiers mainly from Toyama, Ishikawa, and northern Gifu prefectures to ski together and record the experience on video.
It all started before the 2021 season, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Saeki Iwao wanted to liven up the scene as the season was uncertain. He gathered riders and guides from Toyama Prefecture and also called upon riders from other regions to hold a live streaming event.

This season, after holding a live streaming event in December, a project was launched to actually gather, have a session, and record it on video.
Currently, three videos set in Toyama, Ishikawa, and Takayama, Gifu have been uploaded.

The series features skiers based in the featured mountain area acting as hosts, sharing the fun of skiing on their favorite slopes and mountain areas with their friends.
Areas like Hakuba and Hokkaido tend to get the spotlight because of their large mountains and many skiers, but footage from regions like Toyama, Ishikawa, and Gifu, where the backcountry scene is not so well known, is a valuable find.
The entire series is composed mainly of skier commentary and aerial riding footage. The editing is done by Daichi Motoki, who is also a skier.
"White Vibes" is planning to showcase the charm of local areas throughout Japan, not just the Hokuriku region. We look forward to seeing what they do next.
