Okumino Powder | Takasugi & Dynaland's tree run area is popular now

The ski resorts in this area certainly do get a lot of snow, but it's unstable, so artificial snow machines are always on hand. Therefore, moguls, snow parks, and skiing styles on hard slopes such as technical selection are popular.

Takasu Snow Park & Dynaland, which represents this area, has expanded its tree run area in recent years.

It is said that this tree run area has become a powder heaven this year with a lot of snow. Local skiers Kosuke Kusakari, Masato Takeshita Yoshiharu, and Yuki Kuwabara are skiing.

Takasugi and Dynaland are located at the foot of Mt. Dainichigatake and are connected halfway up the ski resort. The size of the mountain and the abundance of slopes have great potential, and there are seven tree run areas in total between the two ski resorts. And on such heavy snow days, it is so popular that snow parks and slope freaks rush to the uncompacted snow and tree run area at once. Because powder snow is precious, it is highly competitive and disappears in no time. And the quality of the snow is also superb.

Takasugi & Dynaland is the largest in western Japan. The altitude of the summit of the slopes is as high as 1550m.

On this day, it was a soft, elastic powder that contained just the right amount of water up to my knees.
You can enjoy the texture of the snow that bounces back when you step on it, which is a little different from the smooth powder of Hokkaido.

Takeshita and Kuwabara also ran at the same time with shouts of joy.
Everyone seems satisfied with the first one. "Today is dangerous!"
The powder in the non-compacted snow area disappeared quickly, but no track remained on the side of the course until around noon.
There are many ups and downs in the tree, so there are plenty of free riding elements. Skiers who clapped their arms at the park should have a lot of fun.
Grass cutting that slides while rolling up a large amount of snow smoke.
There is a popular local shop "TOCORO COFFEE" on the hillside of Takasu, which is perfect for a break. The cafe spot nestled in the snowy field is popular among young people as a stylish spot.
Dynaland's "Challenge Tree Run Area" features a steep slope. Kuwabara, who is also participating in FWQ, is also satisfied.
The bottom of the Challenge Tree Run area is swampy, so you can enjoy playing on the wall.
Dynaland's Umanose Tree Run area can be reached with a 2-3 minute hike. Part of it was north slope, and the untracked powder was preserved until the afternoon.
The time is 2:00 pm. Slide down the remaining powder in the horseback tree run area.
The members thoroughly enjoyed powder and tree runs at two ski resorts.

The tree run powder in the Okumino area shows its potential as you can see if it rains. Please check the weather map and experience it.
