Influenced by my father and older brother, I grew up playing in the mountains, such as skiing and mountaineering, from an early age.
When I was in college, I wanted to challenge various mountains, including overseas, so I decided to join Ishii Sports, where many mountain and ski professionals are enrolled. Now, in addition to backcountry skiing, I am also focusing on trail running and mountaineering as off-training, and enjoying all kinds of mountain activities. My current goal is to carve a lot of my own lines on overseas mountains.
I would like to recommend freeriding and powder skiing to the younger generation, many of whom have retired from competition and left skiing. The freeride world is free! The size of the turn, how to slide, and how to take the line are all correct. Let's share the fun of free riding and the joy of surrendering yourself to nature by bathing your whole body in powder snow!
