TRUNKBASE is a ski pro shop with a physical store in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture. In addition to ski equipment, we also have skating equipment and apparel.
The gear we handle is used or tested by the owner, staff, and SHOP riders, and delivered with real information.
It is important to be able to propose the optimal gear according to the situation where each person wants to ski. During the season, events such as lessons and test rides are held to give lectures on how to ski and how to enjoy it.

In addition, the TRUNKBASE Zao store, which opened as the second store from the 2020-21 season, offers free ski rentals during the season. Park, freeride, and powder skiing can be tested by actually riding.

Skateboards & Trampolines. Suggestion of skating as off-season play for skiers. Also, during the off-season, a school is held on the in-store trampoline. We offer lessons for beginners to learn ski tricks.

Owner Mikiya Tanno
Launched TRUNKBASE after going through slopestyle and halfpipe freestyle contest scenes. Currently, Yamagata is the base for various ski activities. Sending out his own photography activities and the enjoyment of skiing. In the 2019-20 season, he will also serve as a radio personality for FM Yamagata's "Chair Lift Radio".
