Enjoy the powder according to the conditions of the season
Cat is basically operated together with backcountry tours sponsored by two guide companies.
From Shizu Onsen at the foot of the mountain to Ubasawa, which is the base for summer skiing, the tour starts from there. Gassan has a strong image of summer, but in fact, winter is the time to enjoy the benefits of heavy snowfall. We mainly hike and run in beech forests with good snow quality, and if the conditions are good, we will extend our trip to Mt. Ubagatake and Mt. Gassan.
Enjoy plenty of powder riding on Mt. Gassan in the midwinter! From January to February, you can mainly enjoy tree runs in various terrains along the forest line. The weather will be stable in March, so if the weather is good, aim for big slopes and enjoy some exciting riding. Remember, participation requires the same equipment and conditions as a backcountry tour.
