Nakashimaya's young husband is a former cross-country ski athlete, and his wife is professional snowboarder Yukiko Kaneda (maiden name). She is a top rider who once swept the freestyle competition scene. She is still active in the field, such as coaching local children in snowboarding and actively working to spread snowboarding.

The Japanese-Western style room with two semi-double beds and a Japanese-style room of 8 or 6 tatami mats is popular among inbound families. There is also a banquet hall of 60 tatami mats. Nakashimaya's original work clothes are provided in the room. It's also fun to stroll around the hot spring town in a unique hot spring style.

Growing up in the natural environment of Nozawa Onsen, he devoted himself to cross-country skiing from elementary school to university. He finds a job in Nagano City, and enjoys snowboarding when he has time off. After that, he worked at a ryokan in a famous hot spring area for several years. In 2009, he returned to Nozawa Onsen and enjoys the snowy mountains of Nozawa Onsen while working as a young master at a hot spring inn. She also meets the young proprietress in the snowy mountains.
