The Ski Association of Japan announced this season's main visual and team uniforms at the 2020/2021 SNOW JAPAN Press Conference held in Tokyo on Thursday, November 5th. A video was also released at the same time. Be sure to check it out
Keep an eye on how athletes compete in the 2020-21 season
As the 2020-21 season serves as a pre-season for the 2020 Beijing Olympics, attention is focused on how competitions will be run amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the snow circus has already begun in Europe and around the world since mid-October.
In Japan, Sara Takanashi won the women's normal hill at the All Japan Nordic Ski Jumping Championships on October 24th, and then again at the NHK Cup on November 3rd, getting off to a strong start to the season. With the season finally here, and assuming that "going skiing myself is the top priority!" (laughs), we should also pay close attention to how the athletes are competing.
