Photographer Tsuyoshi Endo is from Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture. As both a photographer and a snowboarder, he has traveled to snowy mountains around the world, drawing lines and experiencing the snowboarding culture that has taken root in each place. A documentary film, "Mt. Familia," has been released, digging into Endo's journey as a part of the scene for over 20 years
He describes the value of his home mountain, the presence of his local friends, and the environment that surrounds him as "Familia," and traces the changes in the snowboarding scene and culture that he has walked through. Along with the vast number of photographs and comments he continues to take, the film is a glimpse into his inner self and origins
