Each episode of the movie, titled "Realize," features a skier based in Hakuba Norikura. After touring snow areas all over the world, they explain why they chose "Hakunori." They talk about its appeal and their way of life. "Realize" means "to realize something important." What did they realize through "Hakunori"?

The first video features Arata Suzumura, who has skied in mountainous areas all over the world. He has traveled in search of waves and snow, and now he has settled in a ski resort tucked away in the glittering and bustling Hakuba Valley area, surrounded by abundant nature. Here he talks about the appeal of "Hakunori."

. Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1977. After a bum life in North America, he established his base in Hakuba and continues to chase snow and waves all over the world as a soul snow surfer. He currently runs the accommodation facility "WOOD" in Otari Village, Nagano Prefecture.

"Realize" ep2 Snowman
Our second guest is Takuma Oike, who skis at "Hakunori" every day of the season, whatever the weather. He runs a lodge at the base of Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort, and in the summer travels to the Southern Hemisphere to ski in mountainous areas around the world. He is currently devoting his efforts to "Hakunori" to connect the environment and culture to the next generation

, born in Hokkaido in 1984. Influenced by his father, a ski demonstrator, he started skiing at a young age, progressing from basic skiing and mogul competitions to freeride. Fascinated by the mountains of Hakuba, he moved there after graduating from university. He runs "Lodge Chamingo" at the foot of Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort while working as a mountain freeskier.

The third installment features Matsuzawa Hisashi, who has known Hakunori since its inception. Born and raised here, he has seen the entire history of Hakunori. He has been holding a demo camp (basic ski lesson event) at Hakunori every year for 20 years. He talks about why he still insists on camping at Hakunori and what Hakunori he knows

born in Nagano Prefecture in 1972. He participated in the All Japan Technical Ski Championships from 1994 and worked as a demonstrator for 25 years. After competing 28 times, he retired in 2021. After retiring as a competitor, he continues to support athletes as the head coach of the demonstration team for the All Japan Ski Federation and the Nagano Prefectural Ski Federation, while also continuing to challenge himself as a skier.
