Yu Sasaki is based in Revelstoke, BC, Canada.
He has been active in both competitions and shooting at Heartfilms, and since participating in FWT in 2019, he has become well-known all over the world.
After participating in FWT, he grabbed the chance to shoot with overseas movie productions and cinematographers, including Sammy Carlson, and gradually shifted his activities from competitions to focusing on filming.
Just as things were going smoothly, he suffered a serious injury in 2022, tearing his Achilles tendon.
The video ``EAGLE PASS'' released today on February 2 is a storyteller telling the story of his recovery from the injury.
This video won the Thrill Category at the American Movie Awards ``Outside Magazine Awards.'' Please take a look at the 7 minute video.
By the way, the meaning behind the title ``EAGLE PASS'' is that it was named because it was the place where they were most often photographed.
To commemorate the release of "EAGLE PASS," it has been decided that a movie preview will be held on February 3rd (Saturday) at RHYTHM JAPAN starting at 8:15 p.m.
