Aya Sato and Ayana Onozuka are active as professional snowboarders and professional skiers, respectively. Three movies featuring two such female athletes discussing the appeal of Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort have been released.

Born in Tsunan-cho, Niigata Prefecture. Aya Sato started snowboarding when she was 3 years old. She has been attending Ishiuchi Maruyama since she was a child and has been active mainly in freestyle, and obtained her professional halfpipe qualification at the age of 13. She attracted attention in halfpipe and slopestyle contests, and in recent years she has shifted her focus to freeride, winning four consecutive times at the JAPAN FREERIDE OPEN.

Ayana Onozuka

Born in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture. He started alpine skiing at Ishiuchi Maruyama at the age of 2 under the guidance of his father, and switched to halfpipe in 2011. He achieved brilliant results, including a bronze medal at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, two overall championships at the World Cup, and a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships. After retiring from halfpipe competition in 2019, he switched to freeride. She is now a mother of one child, and she is both a professional skier and a parent.
