Located in Kasugai City, a suburb of Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, YAMAZEN AICHI QUEST is one of the largest jump training facilities in Japan, featuring not only mat jumps but also the world's first transition kicker in an off-season training facility
There are four types of kickers, small, medium, big, and mega, each with different heights and lip angles, categorizing them by level. Once you're comfortable with jumps and speed, you can move on to the big kicker, where you can check your descent from two directions on a monitor
The training facilities are of high quality, and the snow brushes used for approaches employ the highly gliding "Easy Ride" system. This allows for a smooth approach to the kickers. In addition, the landing mats (airbags) are equipped with a water-spraying system to reduce friction between the body and the mat. This allows for safe practice even on large jumps
These private lessons, designed to foster confidence and support improvement, are for beginners and intermediate learners. They are divided into kids' and adult classes and are by reservation only
While primarily a facility for off-season training, it now also offers a leisure aspect. With a ski resort in winter and QUEST in summer, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding all year round. They also host events and tours, so be sure to check their schedule regularly
