26-27 Brand and Lineup Highlights

Introducing the brand's new standard, "BAKER2.0"!

The "BAKER" helmet, worn by American Seth Wescott when he won the gold medal in snowboard cross at the 2006 Turin Olympics, attracted worldwide attention. This masterpiece, which can be considered the origin of BERN's winter helmets, made a huge impact on the industry with its solid design that was unusual at the time, featuring a visor but no ventilation.

Inheriting the iconic silhouette of its predecessor, the "BAKER 2.0," significantly evolved with modern technology, will be newly released on the 26th and 27th

The liner is removable and replaceable, making it suitable for all seasons, and it also meets the stringent safety standards for both snow and cycling. This iconic model from the brand, which combines BERN's signature style with practicality, is equipped with two technologies: the shock absorption technology "DVRT (Divert)*" and "RibTech," which balances strength and comfort by creating air passages inside

*What is DVRT (Divert)?

Announced on the 24th and 25th, "DVRT" was developed by ShieldX, a company that has been conducting research and development for over 10 years at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. Inspired by how woodpeckers protect their brains from intense drumming, it simply involves five layers of membranes made of different materials that rotate and slide in all directions to absorb impact. This innovative technology can reduce damage by up to 45% compared to helmets without this mechanism

In the 26-27 lineup, this technology will be featured not only in the three newly introduced models but also in the higher-end "HENDRIX" model

The lightest in the manufacturer's history. A new "ultralight" series

As lightweight design progresses across outdoor gear, this trend is now extending to helmets. For the 26-27 season, BERN will be releasing two high-end models as part of its "ULTRALIGHT SERIES," which boasts even greater weight reduction.

This series was developed through a strong partnership with a premium carbon supplier with over 30 years of experience. By employing a unique carbon weave, it achieves an excellent strength-to-weight ratio while maintaining the quality and durability of the hand-finished shell.

The base models are the "MACON 2.0 CARBON," which debuted in 2023-2024 as a superior version of BERN's classic skate-style helmet "MACON 2.0," and the "HENDRIX CARBON," which debuted in 2024-2025 as a next-generation model for backcountry and freeride

Both the 26- and 27-inch models are approximately 10% lighter than previous models. Both models feature a low-profile design and a gloss finish, and the "NEW EPS JAPAN FIT," which is tailored to the shape of Japanese heads, provides a superior fit, which is a major attraction
