The history of Swanee Gloves began in 1987 when Bill Dzierson, the owner and descendant of the founder of Elmer Little & Sons, which was founded in 1893 in Gloversville, New York, a town next to Jonestown, where Swanee America is located, met Swanee and the two companies merged.
