Freeride session with Yu Sasaki. January 27-28, 2025 at Madarao Kogen, January 29-30 and February 15-16 at Arai Resort, February 12-13 at Seki Onsen

Professional skier Yu Sasaki , who lives in Revelstoke, Canada, will be holding freeride ski school sessions again this year. The dates are January 27-28, 2025 at Madarao Kogen Ski Resort, January 29-30 and February 15-16 at Arai Resort, and February 12-13 at Seki Onsen Ski Resort.

Professional skier Yu Sasaki, who rose to prominence alongside the world's top riders after his participation in the Freeride World Tour
, now expresses freeriding through video. He has also started a freeride camp in Revelstoke, his base of operations, to inspire young skiers to venture out into the world, creating a roadmap for the younger generation.

This freeride session can be seen as one example of that effort. By riding together, you can directly experience the skiing techniques he has cultivated over many years. This is something that transcends age and aspirations.

Freeriding requires the ability to instantly read all changes in terrain and snow conditions, and to control your skis accordingly. To constantly anticipate what's happening directly beneath your skis and respond flexibly, it's essential to stay directly above them.
Watch Yu Sasaki's skiing up close and learn the essential elements of freeriding through this session.
