Tomorrow, New Year's Eve, is expected to bring unprecedented snowfall and "powder"
A cold wave is sweeping across Japan over the New Year, with record-breaking snowfall predicted from tonight (December 30th) through New Year's Eve.
The weather has already been rough, and ski resorts across the country are seeing increasing snowfall. Tomorrow, the ski resorts will likely be covered in deep powder, just like the one pictured above.
Pure powder snow is something we can't hope for, but if you're heading up a snowy mountain between tomorrow and the start of the new year, please be careful to avoid accidents and injuries.
