Kiyotsu Lakeside Lodge is an accommodation facility adjacent to the Kagura Ski Resort in Yuzawa Town, Niigata Prefecture. It is well-known among skiers as it is run by skierAi Sato. Every year at the end of August, the Lakeside Lodge opens its garden to the public for a free backyard outdoor event called "Katte ni Garden" (Let's Have Our Garden).
This year, it has been decided that the event will be held on August 24th (Saturday) and 25th (Sunday).
This unique event, which integrates food, a flea market, music, and workshop areas, takes place amidst the beautiful mountains and rivers.
Visitors can browse various handmade crafts and selected items, listen to live music, participate in a wide variety of workshops, and enjoy delicious food. In the venue, surrounded by abundant nature, you can also relax by the river or spend time leisurely in the backyard.
Since the event is open until night, you can also stay at nearby accommodations such as "Kiyotsu Lakeside Lodge" or enjoy camping at the tent sites in the garden where the event is held.
