The Freeride World Tour (FWT) is an international freeride competition that began in Switzerland in 1996. This season, the domestic competition, the 2025 FWT JAPAN SERIES, will be held at three venues: Hakuba Valley, Yuzawa Nakazato Snow Resort, and Lotte Arai Resort
The HAKUBA VALLEY competition will be held in a backcountry area. It will be one of the few 4* competitions in the world, and a heated battle is expected among the competitors.
In addition to the FWT QUALIFIER, the FWT JUNIOR will also be held at LOTTE ARAI RESORT and Yuzawa Nakazato Snow Resort. These two venues are located in areas accessible by lifts, making them ideal for watching the competitions.
