Bring it on! Make your skiing debut with our "Ski Trip Plan for First-Timers" and enjoy a relaxing family ski trip | Bandaisan Onsen Hotel by Hoshino Resorts

Located right in front of one of Japan's largest ski resorts, Bandaisan Onsen Hotel by Hoshino Resorts will be offering a three-day, two-night accommodation plan, the "Family Ski Plan: Relaxed Even for First-Timers," to support first-time skiers from December 13, 2025 to April 5, 2026.

As a skier-first hotel, the hotel has implemented initiatives such as the "WAX Bar" where guests can get their skis waxed at any time, the "First Track" where guests can start skiing 15 minutes before the lifts start operating, and a "2pm check-out" that allows guests to enjoy skiing without rushing even on the last day.

This new plan aims to ensure that families with children who are new to skiing can enjoy their stay at the snow resort with peace of mind by offering accommodation benefits such as free rental equipment for children and free lift tickets for beginners, as well as private lessons for the family and a "Seven Tools for the Ski Slopes" set that includes useful items to have on the slopes, to support their skiing debut.

Feature 1: A safe service for those unfamiliar with snow trips

As a hotel that prioritizes skiers, all rooms have a 2 PM check-out time during the winter season. On your last day, you can ski all morning, have lunch, and then return to your room with plenty of time to prepare for departure. In addition, there are many great perks, such as free rentals for children so they can ski without bringing anything, and free lift tickets for beginners.
Furthermore, a "Seven Essential Items for the Slopes" backpack is available to help you prepare for your first skiing experience. This backpack is packed with useful items such as snacks, hand warmers, and protectors, so you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding with peace of mind.

Feature 2: Any level is OK! Let's ski together as a family with "Family Private Lessons"

To address common concerns parents have about their children's first skiing experience, such as "I want to teach my child to ski, but I don't know how" or "I want to put my child in a group lesson, but I'm worried about whether they'll be able to keep up," this plan includes a private lesson that the whole family can participate in.
You can participate with your child and observe the instructor's teaching methods to learn, or have your child participate alone to assess their skill level—the possibilities are endless. The instructor will also take photos during the lesson, allowing you to capture precious memories of the whole family skiing together, something you might not often get the chance to do.

Feature 3: Enjoy playing in the snow and other activities at the hotel for three days and two nights

Even if your children get tired of skiing and snowboarding, guests can rent sleds and other snow play equipment free of charge, so the whole family can get familiar with the snowy mountains through playing in the snow.

"Akabeko suri" (sleds) and "Akabeko wear" based on the Aizu local toy "Akabeko" will also be available for rental. You can also make "Akabeko snowmen" using Akabeko molds, making for a unique ski trip that captures the charm of the region.

Furthermore, even on days when the weather isn't great, you can still enjoy the indoor heated pool and the activities available on site, so you'll never get bored during your three-day, two-night stay.
