Blue Bottle Coffee arrives in Shinshu for the first time this winter
BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE, a San Francisco-based coffee shop with a stylish blue bottle as its logo, now has over 100 stores worldwide (as of December 2022). Starting December 16th, a coffee truck will be appearing in Nozawa Onsen Village for a limited time
Blue Bottle Coffee values "deliciousness," "hospitality," and "design" in order to provide a delicious coffee experience, and creates cafes that are suited to the surrounding environment and local community. Starting in spring 2022, the company will begin operating the "Blue Bottle Coffee Truck" with the theme of "Coffee in Nature."
To celebrate the opening of their first Blue Bottle Coffee truck in Nozawa, they are releasing a menu using local spring water. The water used is meltwater from the mountains of Nozawa Onsen Village, where many beech forests remain. "Snow Mountain Pure Water," a spring water that has been filtered over many years, is available in Americano, black coffee, Bangalow Black Tea, and Fez Moroccan Mint Green Tea
The coffee truck is located in front of Nozawa Onsen Lodge, close to the Nagasaka Gondola station at Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort. You're sure to enjoy a heart-warming coffee after your skiing session
Also not to be missed is the "360 Traveler" tumbler (5,500 yen), which will be available for pre-sale at the Blue Bottle Coffee truck. This stainless steel tumbler, created in collaboration with Seattle-based MiiR, features a simple design with the brand logo and a white color reminiscent of the pure white snow that falls in Nozawa Onsen
