Burton Launches Certified Pre-Owned Snowboard Sales | June 16th (Fri) - 25th (Sun), 2023 @ Burton Flagship Tokyo

Over 100 certified used snowboards will be on display during the event

Burton, a hugely popular brand among snowboarders, will begin selling certified pre-owned snowboards. The used snowboards will mainly consist of boards that have been used at test ride events and test ride centers. Burton has maintained the boards and they are in perfect condition

Burton's stated purpose includes "minimizing the environmental impact and creating products that are safe and long-lasting for the planet and its people" and "protecting the future of snowboarding and making riding enjoyable for everyone." They believe that continuing to use a piece of gear for a long time also contributes to protecting the field in which snowboarding is enjoyed. It is with this in mind that they are starting to sell certified pre-owned boards

 

Burton's criteria for certified pre-owned snowboards are that the board is free of visual damage and functional defects, the top sheet, base, and edges are not peeling, there are no dents or rust, the inserts and The Channel system are functioning, and the flex is maintained in the correct condition. Only boards that meet these criteria are considered ``certified.''

To further ensure quality, certified pre-owned snowboards are cleaned, waxed, and have their edges adjusted, and come with a one-year product warranty after purchase. Even though they are second-hand, they are serviced to ensure they can be used for a long time with peace of mind

This limited-time sale will be available from June 16th (Friday) to June 25th (Sunday) at the Burton Flagship Tokyo.
