Entries are still being accepted for the "Omusubi Open" at Happo-one and the "Yagiyagi Open" at Awasuno Ski Resort. The
"Yagiyagi Open" at Awasuno Ski Resort, which will be held for the first time, will feature everyone snowboarding in a special dome tent with live music by the snowboarder band "SuperBeans" playing in the background.
Entries for the "Kamoshika Open" at Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field are scheduled to open soon.
Each competition is characterized by detailed divisions into classes for junior high school students and younger. The Chanmero Freeride Open also has a lower barrier to entry than regular freeride competitions, with plenty of time for sessions where competitors can ski together with judges and session riders, ample time for inspections, and riders accompanying each class
In addition to rankings, there are also special awards chosen by the judges and session riders, making it an event that everyone can enjoy, regardless of who wins or loses. Furthermore, if a parent and child register together, they will be invited to a backcountry tour organized by Color Sports Club in March or April
