Popular outdoor brands are co-hosting the repair event "DO REPAIRS" from May 19th to 21st, 2023 in Shibuya and Harajuku, Tokyo

Repairs, workshops and talk shows by each brand

With the idea that "people want to cherish and continue wearing a single product," a repair event will be held in Tokyo's Shibuya and Harajuku area by popular outdoor brands. Participating brands are The North Face, Patagonia, Freitag, Helly Hansen, Arc'teryx, and Mystery Ranch. On the day of the event, they will be sewing apparel, pressing repair patches, repairing bags, and more. There will also be workshops where people can try dyeing old T-shirts and learn how to repair holes in socks. Representatives from each brand will gather at the talk show to talk about the event and their thoughts on repairs.

This time, you can bring in any brand or manufacturer, regardless of the participating brands. Why not bring along some of your favorite items from this season that have holes in them, or any treasured items that are just sitting around at home?

A simple repair experience that does not require a
sewing machine, such as repairing torn shells or down jackets using repair patches, replacing pull cords, attaching snap buttons, etc. *Advance reservations available

・Bag repair location: Freitag Store Tokyo Shibuya.

・Experience re-dyeing worn-out T-shirts Venue: HELLY HANSEN Harajuku
Re-dye your soiled clothes with indigo to make them wearable again. Please bring your own cotton T-shirt. (Approximately 20 minutes)

Darning Workshop Venue: Patagonia Tokyo Shibuya 2F
A workshop will be held to teach you how to repair holes in socks by hand. Please bring your own socks with you if you have any holes. (Approximately 30 minutes)

Talk session: Friday, May 19, 2023, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
. Participation is free and no reservations are required. The event will be held at the Freitag Store Tokyo Shibuya. The event
will be streamed online on each brand store's social media accounts.

*We accept repairs for clothing and bags that can be completed in about 30 minutes.
*We may not be able to repair the clothing depending on its condition, the extent of the repair, and the difficulty.
*Limit one item per person. Please bring the item in a clean, washed condition.
