FACTION, a ski brand from Verbier, Switzerland, launched a limited edition model for Koga Hoshino on November 8th. The "Prodigy 3 Koga" is a ski that fuses Japanese aesthetics with the pure spirit of an athlete. The design was created by local artist KENGO (Kengo Kimura) , whom Hoshino deeply respects . This collaboration, originating locally and meeting global standards, has finally come to fruition. It is truly a creation from Minamiuonuma, a global brand, originating locally and meeting global standards.
The design is inspired by Koga's free-flowing skating style, like a kite with its string cut. "space" and "negative space" , resulting in a piece where stillness and movement coexist.
The sole graphic is also unique, with a Japanese-inspired pattern that matches the graphic on the top in a unified monochrome color scheme
