Art show by FW ambassadors, the Funayama Brothers

To commemorate the start of the 22-23 season, an art exhibition by ambassadorsIsagi FunayamaandArata Funayamawill be held at TRUNK(HOTEL) on Thursday, December 8th. It will be a day to share a space that expresses the lifestyle, activities, and creativity of these brothers.
Kiyoshi and Kai Funayama are fraternal twins born in Nagano Prefecture in 1995. With a knack for playing in the mountains and being in nature since childhood, Kiyoshi has become an active alpine climber and snowboarder, both in Japan and abroad, and in all seasons. Living in the mountains year-round, he has ample experience in snowy mountain climbing and icefall climbing, and pursues outdoor pursuits such as mountaineering, backcountry skiing, surfing, and fishing. He currently runs Gen., a fully-attended service that offers a day of nature fun tailored to the mountain environment and the client's needs, and is also actively involved in outdoor education for children
Kai, on the other hand, is an artist who expresses what he feels from nature. He studied fashion design and marketing abroad and worked as a pattern maker and designer until 2018. Since 2021, he has been launching, producing, and designing brands, focusing on the potential of the power of traditional Japanese crafts and technology for environmental conservation. He is also a photographer, and has photographed athletes such as professional snowboarders and surfers
Come experience the space created by these two brothers, which shares the same essence of "playing in nature" while combining their respective sensibilities
