Exhibition art show by FW ambassador Funayama Brothers
Premium snow/outdoor brand FW based in Annecy, France. FW, which has been certified by B Corp, which is granted only to companies that clear various items and are environmentally friendly, proposes a new outdoor life through products and experiences.
To commemorate the start of the 2022-23 season, an exhibition art show by Ambassadors Kiyoshi Funayama and Arata Funayama will be held at TRUNK (HOTEL) on Thursday, December 8th. A day where they can share a space that expresses their lifestyles, activities and creativity.
Kiyoshi Funayama and Kai are fraternal twins born in Nagano Prefecture in 1995. Kiyoshi has been active as an alpine climber and snowboarder both in Japan and overseas, regardless of the season, with his sense cultivated by playing in the mountains since childhood and being in contact with nature. She lives in the mountains all year round and has extensive experience in snow mountain climbing and icefall climbing. Currently, she has launched Gen., a full-service service that proposes a day to play in nature according to the mountain environment and customer's request, and is also actively engaged in outdoor education for children.
On the other hand, Kai works as an artist who expresses what he feels from nature. She studied fashion design and marketing abroad and worked as a pattern maker and designer until 2018. Since 2021, he has focused on the potential of Japanese traditional crafts and techniques for environmental conservation, and has been launching, producing, and designing brands. He also has a side as a photographer, and he also works on athletes such as professional snowboarders and surfers.
By the hands of such two brothers, while having the same essence of "playing in nature", let's experience the space where each sensibility is combined.
