As September begins, ski resorts are starting to sell early bird lift tickets one after another. Gunma Minakami Hodaigi Ski Resort has also announced the sale of super early bird tickets and season passes. Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture, where this ski resort is located, is a region rich in nature that's hard to believe it's in the Kanto region, boasting Mount Tanigawa, one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains, the source of the Tone River, and numerous dam lakes. The town is also dotted with ski resorts, and Gunma Minakami Hodaigi Ski Resort, in particular, is a place where you can enjoy powder snow thanks to its high altitude and heavy snowfall
The highly anticipated early bird lift ticket is a set of four 1-day tickets, available at a price 6,400 yen cheaper than the regular price. It's a great deal for families or groups of friends.
Season passes have different prices depending on the sales period. If purchased by the end of September, it's 42,000 yen for adults; from October to the end of November it's 45,000 yen; from December to the end of January it's 49,000 yen; and from February onwards it's 42,000 yen.
